Celsian Education is actively recruiting for a School Classroom Manager on behalf of a Secondary school in the Sheffield area.
Are you a good manager of people? Do you have the personal qualities and confidence, to manage a group of Secondary-aged school pupils? If so, this could very well be the job for you! (All applicants will need to evidence experience of managing children aged 11-18 years old, and an understanding of the National Curriculum).
Typically, a School Classroom Manager will oversee the completion of set work and manage the behaviour of pupils in a classroom setting. No qualifications are required to undertake this role. So in essence the main thing schools look for in a School Classroom Manager, are great 'people-management' skills. Someone with the ability to engage a class of pupils, and make sure they achieve the goals that are being set, through the work that has been left to be completed.
